1. General description of the service 

Our online shop specialises in the following Roto brand products: Fittings for windows and doors as well as operating elements and accessories; equipment and accessories for roof windows as well as loft ladders and corresponding accessories. 

 

It is also possible to set up a customer account. This is optional for consumers; a purchase can also be made without a customer account.

The legal requirements result from the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG), in particular Section 14 in conjunction with Section 3 (1) BFSG with reference to the Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG).

 

4. Fulfilment of the accessibility requirements

In accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, our online shop is designed to be as accessible as possible at level AA to ensure that our website is accessible to all people. The measures include:

 

Access and security: 

The shop fulfils common functional requirements for usability, comprehensibility and robustness. Two-factor authentication is not currently planned.

 

Functional performance criteria: 

Central functions can be accessed using various forms of operation. The site can also be operated without a mouse.

 

Visual alternatives:

Partial visual cues (e.g. colour change on hover). ALT texts are technically provided, full maintenance will be added successively.

 

Auditory alternatives:

The shop requires hearing ability. Advanced audio functions are not currently implemented.

 

Manual interaction options:

Basic functions can also be used without precise fine motor skills. Further optimisations are planned.

 

Protection from visual stimuli: 

Strong visual stimuli such as flashing or automatic colour changes are avoided.

 

 

Support for cognitive impairments:

The content is formulated in an understandable way. A description in simplified language has not yet been implemented. 

 

 

We are endeavouring to fully meet the requirements of Level AA in the near future.
